My interest in plants grew 5-6 years ago when i first time saw a bamboo plant (planted by my late grand father) in my apple orchard in Paro. The bamboo plants were supplied by the dzongkhag agriculture sector however out of the 10 plants planted, only 4 were surviving. I then watered it and the next week, i could see it growing... so did my interest in plants.
