When is 1 + 1 = 3?

It has always been heard, Is 1+1=3? There are many views on it. One popular view is 1+1 is 2 but the capital gain from the transaction is around 1 which adds to 2 and results as 3. Which means that 1 + 1 and profit of 1 makes it to three. One view is also that a man and a woman marries and  produces a kid and is then called 1+1=3 the third one as the baby born to them. There are many other views and I have my view which  I will prove mathematically later on.

Byomkesh Bakshi, the TRUTH seeker (ii) contd

Ajit Kumar now stays with Byomkesh Bakshi at his flat. They have a typical type of home servant Puntiram. You may notice in the coming episodes or in this episode that Puntiram also inspired by Byomkesh do not trust people. When he goes to open the door, he always looks who is there and has suspicious mind on every individual knocking the door.

Byomkesh Bakshi, the TRUTH seeker

I might not have heard the name of Shylock Holmes but I did hear the name Byomkesh Bakshi when I was a boy. Thanks to the availability of Indian television at the CHPC colony in the 90’s. No choices were there as the only channel that was available was doordarshan. That’s how I came to hear about Byomkesh Bakshi. Five months ago, while surfing through some articles I came through Byomkesh Bakshi’s episodes in one of the blog. And while going through it, I could find it linked to youtube. If you are interested in detective stories, then you might find out this blog pretty useful.

Indian Rupee Crunch Update 1

The blog continues for the Indian Rupee Crunch (ii)...

How long? It should by this time come to normal, however RMA's decision to close indian accounts in bhutanese banks will have some impact (additional 1-3) months of crunch though the decision is timely and necessity. My estimates say it would continue for april month only or atleast to early may.

The Indian Rupee Crunch

What is "Rupee Crunch"?

Rupee crunch is basically the shortage of hard currency (Indian Rupee) in Bhutanese Market. Indian Rupee is a foreign currency and is like any other foreign currency cannot be printed as and when we like. Basically we have to EARN it. The current rupee crunch was a small crisis but then the RMA circular restricting the Indian Rupee have added fuel to the fire and thereby affected all Bhutanese. Now the crunch is a big economical crisis and such measures would add even more to the crisis.

My interest in plants.

My interest in plants grew 5-6 years ago when i first time saw a bamboo plant (planted by my late grand father) in my apple orchard in Paro. The bamboo plants were supplied by the dzongkhag agriculture sector however out of the 10 plants planted, only 4 were surviving. I then watered it and the next week, i could see it growing... so did my interest in plants.
