Byomkesh Bakshi, the TRUTH seeker (ii) contd

Ajit Kumar now stays with Byomkesh Bakshi at his flat. They have a typical type of home servant Puntiram. You may notice in the coming episodes or in this episode that Puntiram also inspired by Byomkesh do not trust people. When he goes to open the door, he always looks who is there and has suspicious mind on every individual knocking the door.

This is the second blog for the Byomkesh Bhakshi, the TRUTH seeker.

Episode 2 Raste Ka Kanta (The thorn of the road)

The episode begins with the early morning chat over the news from the papers. Byomkesh says to Ajit that the real news is in the advertisements than in the news articles that the paper prints out. It is also being discussed that one more killings in about ten days have occurred on the streets of Calcutta where the post mortem reports indicates a gramahome pin has been shot on the heart as per the news. Byomkesh thinks that the killings are related to the advertisement that has recently being floated called “Raste Ka Kanta” (The thorn of the road). 

A rich merchant named Ashutosh Mitra comes to meet Byomkesh and seeks his help where he nearly died. Will Byomkesh be able to find out who wanted to kill Ashutosh. Will he be able to find out the mystery of the gramahome pin killings. Is the advertisement related to the killings?

Episode 3 Seemant Heera (The Frontier Diamond)

This episode do not involve any crime, it involves around the theft of a very precious diamond belonging to a rich land lord (Zaminder Tribendra) in the north bengal. He requests Byomkesh to come his place. Byomkesh along with Ajit visits the Zaminder and finds out that Seemant Heera was stolen from the exhibition in Calcutta. Zaminder wants the case to be secret and wants the diamond back from his uncle who is both rich and smart.

Byomkesh gives his word to the Zaminder that he will get back the diamond within one week. Will Byomkesh get back the diamond from a very arrogant person? Will Byomkesh steal the diamond or choose other way to get the diamond? How will he get the diamond?
