I might not have heard the
name of Shylock Holmes but I did hear the name Byomkesh Bakshi when I was a
boy. Thanks to the availability of Indian television at the CHPC colony in the
90’s. No choices were there as the only channel that was available was
doordarshan. That’s how I came to hear about Byomkesh Bakshi. Five months ago,
while surfing through some articles I came through Byomkesh Bakshi’s episodes
in one of the blog. And while going through it, I could find it linked to youtube.
